Are creative girlfriends different than other girlfriends?

My creative girlfriends get me. They understand why I stayed up late to finish a scrapbook page or when I'm late because I had to make jewelry to go with my outfit. They never question why I have glitter stuck to my fingers or have paint stains on my sleeves. And, they love to hear about my creative projects and they share my fascination with adhesives and all the embellishments you can stick with them!

Do you have creative girlfriends with whom you share your passion for crafts and hobbies? Are you pulled to female friends who 'speak your language' and know where to shop for unique beads and have an opinion on polymer clay techniques?! Do your girlfriends inspire you to create handmade gifts and greetings?

I love all my girlfriends - crafty, creative, croppers and those who aren't (or just don't realize that they're creative!). But, I do find that my creative girlfriends and I have a different way of communicating and are excited for each other the way that some of my girlfriends are not.
